US Bureau of Labor Statistics

US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the overall employment of aircraft and avionics technicians is projected to grow 11 percent from 2020 to 2030, faster rate of growth than the average for all other occupations.

About 14,400 openings for aircraft and avionics technicians are projected each year, on average over the decade. Many of the openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.
