The Full Story
For over 30 years Don Filippone has been dedicated to training entrance level and experienced aircraft mechanics. Sixteen of those years were with AirTran Airways and Southwest Airlines.
He has been actively engaged in consulting and development of several Aviation Maintenance Technology Programs. Recipient of the 1996, FAA Southern Region, "AMT of the Year Award" and in 1997 the coveted Flight Safety Foundation, "Joe Chase Award".
Don received his initial Designated Mechanic Examiner Authorization in 1996 and since has tested and issued airframe and powerplant certificates to hundreds of mechanics, both graduates of AMT programs and Military personnel transitioning to civil aviation.

AZ Technical Training, a subsidiary of DME Consulting, LLC was created to provide a reputable and streamlined source of information for those individuals preparing to test for their Airframe and Powerplant Certificates.
